The first private radio station in Oyo State, Splash FM has put in place a fuji festival that is promised to be the first of its kind to mark the celebration of this year Eid-kabir festival on 6th October, 2014 at Mauve 21 Event Centre, ring Road, Ibadan, from 10a.m. The station has been in the forefront of redefining the broadcasting terrain of the state and has hosted many notable events like 'integrity marathon race', 'comic attack competition', 'football planet', etc. The Fuji festival will feature over twenty fuji musicians like Muri Thunder, Taiye Currency, Tiri Leather, Omo jo ibo, and the paramount king of fuji, Abass Akande Obesere also known as 'omorapala'.
