“Surulere” Pays Off! Dr Sid is No. 1 as he Co-Hosts MTV Base Official Naija Top 10

I believe Dr Sid understands the meaning of his  hit track single's title, Surulere. The song has become a hit of sort and I know the Mavin empire led by Don Jazzy will be in ecstasy over the success of the track. It is another testament that Don Baba is still up there in music industry, not just in Nigeria but Africa. Dr Sid himself is marching into his dream as he is to co host an MTV show: MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 with Ehiz this week.

He shares hilarious behind-the-scenes scoop on comedian Helen Paul who plays the wife in the “Surulere” video as well as his his views on parenting. He stressed the need for patience by parents who put pressure on young couples to bear children.

Topping this week’s chart is Dr Sid‘s – “Surulere” featuring Don Jazzy, while Burna Boy‘s “Yawa Dey” moves down to the number 2 slot, from number 1 last week.
Wizkid still has two songs in the top 10, as he is a featured artist on Jesse Jags‘ “Bad Girl” at number 3. Patoranking‘s “Girlie O” is next in the number 4 slot.
New entries into this week’s chart are Ice Prince‘s “Jambo“ at number 8, Wizkid‘s “On Top Your Matter” at number 9 and “Parcel” by Phyno at number 10.
